Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me on this question. Okay first, how much would a program like this cost and where could I find a program like this; I'm a freshman in high school, and I know I probably won't be able to go to one until I finish high school right? And I was planning on going to Spain, how much will that cost me? How much time there will I need to spend for it to have an effect on me, and how much of an effect will it have? When should I start saving up? OH ! and most importantly, when I finish high school, say I have like 3 or 4 years of Spanish, to further learn Spanish should I take some of my college classes in Spanish, would that help? (My Spanish teacher is white and she did that) So if you could please help me, (I really want to learn this language fully), that would be nice, thanks in advance !

First, no programs invite kids who are younger than about 16 (usually junior year) for a long-term program.
No...you don't have to finish high school, first.
How much it will cost depends, among other things, on where you have to fly from, and which program you travel on.
Talk to your guidance counselor, and/or Spanish teachers.
You should start saving up NOW.
You need to live there for at least four to six months to have much effect on your linguistic abilities.
Doing the summer program sounds great. But consider this: Going for a full year of university...you'll learn so much more!
Or do both if it's possible!
