Protein berry Cake! I follow World beauty and fitness champion Andreia Brazier (ripped chick), and this was her birthday treat! lol
People who work out a lot live on protein!
Here's a recipe that I've been wanting to try: http://social.popsugar.com/Grain-free-Vanilla-Berr...
Hope this helps!
Magic Chocolate Cake!
This recipe contains no eggs, butter or milk so it cuts down on fat and calories right off! Also, it is super delicious!!! You can make the frosting if you like as it's also made without butter or dairy, but the cake is delicious without frosting! You can just dust the top very lightly with icing (confectioner's) sugar! Then put in the candles!!! Your Mom can have a small piece, but as it's so healthily made, I bet she'll have another! Enjoy!
What's magic about this cake? It contains no eggs, no dairy, and it's super easy to make.
INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 cups unbleached flour
3/4 cup sugar or other sweetener
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 cup cold water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder in a bowl and stir with a fork until mixed. Make a well in the center and add the vanilla, oil, vinegar, and water. Stir with a fork until well mixed. Pour into a 9x9-inch baking dish (or cupcake pan), and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely, then frost with Chocolate Cream Frosting (below).
Chocolate Cream Frosting
Makes enough for one 9-inch cake or 8 cupcakes
INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoon softened margarine (Earth Balance)
1-1/3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2-4 tablespoons water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cream the margarine in a small bowl then add the sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and enough water to make a thick but spreadable frosting.
Ingredients:
3 egg whites
3/4 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
1/3 cup water
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
STEP 1
In a heatproof bowl set over (not in) a saucepan of simmering water, combine egg whites, sugar, salt, and water. Cook over medium, stirring constantly, until sugar has dissolved (or mixture registers 150 degrees on an instant-read thermometer), 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium-high until glossy, stiff peaks form (do not overbeat), about 3 minutes; reduce speed to low, add vanilla extract, and beat just until combined. Use immediately.
then decorate an angel food cake it's all egg whites no yukky stuff and is okay to eat with strawberries blueberries raspberries kiwi all very good for you and REAL homemade whipped cream Not that store bought stuff get whipping cream nothing in it but cream add sugar though
you may buy an angel food cake read ingredients, a good one will have less than 5 listed
He shouldnt eat just egg whites. Hes missing out on some good stuff in the yolk.
Well, today i made mini pies, and they were pretty healthy i guess, cuz i forgot to put in the sugar...
Fruit trifle. Make low fat sponge cake... with yoghurt, applesauce (google it)- the have no fat. And layer it with fruit and yoghurt instead of cream.
Flourless chocolate/orange cake is good. Some are no fat. Just find healthy alternatives. Theres brownie recipes with tofu, etc out there
