I got a tragus piercing on Friday last week, which was 6 days ago. The piercer didn't use any needle, instead, he used a piercing gun. My ear was alright at first but last night it just got swollen and it hurted alot! And today it got even more swollen and the swollen area got bigger, it has now almost reached my left cheek. We took the puss out today and dabbed betadine on it, there's also something kind of blocking my ear, it feels awkward. I clean it everyday with saline which I got from the hospital. Am I going to be ok? Is the piercing going to be ok? Any suggestions on what I can do? Because this is really worrying me.
Update:I have quite a few piercings that got infected but not this swollen. Mostly in my ears, the only piercing that didn't really get infected is my nape piercing and my 5mm plug. I really need some advice, thanks!

It sounds infected. You should see a doctor as an infection in this area can cause major complications. No, it won't heal by tomorrow.
A tragus piercing is a delicate procedure because the area (that little tab of skin and cartilage the sticks out at the front of the ear and partially covers the ear canal) is small and so close to the head. A skilled piercer should do this type of piercing to make sure it is properly placed in the fold close to the head on the first attempt, other wise a tragus piercing may migrate somewhat or heal crooked.
Nearly all tragus piercings you see are a captive bead ring between a 20 and 14 gauge for good reason – these are comfortable and work well in that small of an area. Anything thinner might cut right through, anything larger will have a tendency to get caught or be a hindrance in the ear canal and not hang properly.
A tragus piercing needs careful cleaning every day, following the aftercare instructions provided. This is especially true since this is in a part of the body where infection can lead to serious complications. You don’t want an infection of a tragus piercing that could spread to other parts of the ear, and sleeping on a tragus piercing will only aggravate the problem.
So when you go for a tragus piercing, keep in mind that you will need to take special care with your ears (no wearing earphones, extra care when talking on the phone, etc.) for at least three to six months if you want to keep it.
