I used to be able to only enter the first digit of my ID and then select it and click sign in. I have not changed any settings in the internet options i.e. browsing history remains unchecked and auto complete settings are the same.

Many people are reporting this problem. Yahoo claims this problem concerns your web browser, not Yahoo.
Yahoo advises its users to re-check their browser's setting to ensure that auto-fill is properly enabled and that passwords are not being cleared when you erase your browser's history or clear your cache and cookies.
Possible reasons that Yahoo does not remember your ID and password are:
-You may need to adjust your account settings to sign you out every 2 weeks instead of every day
-You may have signed out of your account
-Your password information may have been deleted when you cleared your cache and cookies
-Your web browser may not be enabled for "auto-fill", in which your browser will remember or fill in the password for you.

Uncheck the field "undergo in techniques my identity & password" on the sign up window. in spite of if it fairly is bobbing up in the present day as quickly as you first turn your computer on, then you certainly definately would desire to flow into Messenger, Connection opportunities, and then under the traditional classification, uncheck "in the present day initiate Yahoo Messenger"
