She's still alive, she's 95, I guess she's lucky to have good health, maybe she'll make 100. It would be apt if she did last that long because I really think the British people were great survivors during the war, I think you can put a lot of that down to Churchill and the morale raising efforts of people like Vera.
My grandparents are similar age to her and still alive, I know plenty of people that age and still doing well. They stay active and keep a young attitude - whereas some people just get to a certain age and start slowing down very quickly.
