When does school start in California?
In the book Talent by Zoe Dean, she makes school starts September 6th!!! Isn't that a bit late for CA or is it just the Beverly Hills area. Is it okay if in my book about CA, school starts around the 6th as well?

Ooh, I have the first book and the second! Okay I live in southern California, and my district starts on the 1st of September
its a book, the author probably just picked and day and went with it. i doubt he/she researched the actual dates that beverly hills area high schools start.
