With insurance it cost me about $3,000. It just depends.
Also, the first week with braces is kind of painful. As long as you eat soft foods, you'll be alright. Pain killers usually help a bit. After a week, it's totally fine, and it feels normal. You may get cuts inside your mouth from the braces brushing up against your mouth, but it will all go away and feel perfectly fine in time.
im not sure on cost for you since i live in aus, but mine cost about 5000 AUD. getting them on doesnt hurt but it does feel weird, and afterwards the pain depends on how tight the put them, but expect pain for atleast a day or two, panadol will usually be enough to hold off the pain as long as just eat soft food that isnt too hot or too cold
well it cost me 7 1/2 grand or so. But we have different currency so idk. But i have three stages of the treatment so yours would be less. prebably. And yes it does hurt a bit but if you take two painkillers every 4 hours (or as stated on the box) its not so bad. But yes, it hurts a bit still even with the pill. it only hurts a day or two after you get them tightened. or for three or four days only when you brush yr teeth and eat harder stuff.
