Actually.. the last two answers are BOTH wrong and to the person who said..
"Schizophrenia is more severe and normally is tougher to treat and deal with than schizo affective which is bipolar disorder."
Erm No. Schizo-Affective Disorder has attributes of both Schizophrenia and Bi-Polar Affective Disorder thus making Schizophrenia 10X worse!!!
Schizo-Affective Disorder is a lot harder to control because you have the hallucinations, delusions, and voices, etc.. of Schizophrenia and then on top of that you have the Manic 'Ups' and Depressive 'Down's of Bi-Polar.
Schizo-Affective Disorder is by far the worst coming at number (1) and then in second place coming in at number (2) is Schizophrenia and finally at number (3) is Bi-Polar.
Schizoaffective disorder is not a mix of schizophrenia and bipolar, it's having symptoms of both but not enough to any of the two disorders.
And there's no better or worst, it depends on how serious each person's illness is. Schizophrenia may not be as serious in some people, but really serious in other people. Schizoaffective is the same. It all depends on each person.
(though as far as I've read, schizoaffective is not near as serious as schizophrenia statistically)
