Why am I so much darker than my parents?
Well both of my parents filipino. My dad is has fair skin and my mom is kind of pale. Both of my sisters are also pretty fair. Then here's me with dark brown skin. They said that when I was born I was already dark. Oh and they are from Luzon. Pampangga and Baguio

It's from your ancestors. Somewhere in your ancestry, you had a darker skinned ancestor. It's like with my daughter's blue eyes - she got those from her great-grandfather.
