I recently sold one of my guitars and i am now left with my older guitar. It's a johnson acoustic electric guitar and i don't plan on playing it with an amp. My problem is that every time i strum, the guitar produces this weird deep sound. I re strung the guitar and tried tuning it but it still makes this muffled echoing noise. should i just buy a new one. i know johnson isn't the best guitar is it fixable?

well, some guitars that are made of certain kinds of wood have a natrually deeper sound, so that could be it.
