2000 renault clio intermittent starting problems?
Im not very good with cars! This is my first one, X reg 1.2 clio grande. Recently i have been getting problems with the car not starting! This tends to happen when my engine is warm and never has it done it when it is cold. I have fitted new spark plugs and filters. My engine is also misfiring, and will loose power going up hills. Im not sure where to start with sorting this problem, can anyone give me some advice? Google and family have so far told me to try new coil packs and possibly a new starter motor. When this happens the engine ticks over but just doesn't seem to fire! PLEASE HELP ME, i dont want to get ripped off by a garage!

first off if the eng turns over the starting sytem is ok this leaves the fire issue there r a # of different things this could be it may even be a fuel probleam from what u r telling us missfire and looseing power is normally a fuel probleam i would sugesst u bring it to a shop for a estimate bring it to a few shops see what they say it may be a minor problem i have seen may others change parts trying to fix a problem and spending way to much money on there car to find out that a wire was bad or a sensor save time and money get estimates only replays what needs replaceing hope this helps and good luck
