Its about money. you as a singer are selling a product.No record company is willing to sign a unknown without knowing that they are going to be a hit, and make them money.Even Justin Bieber. had music out on you tube before he became popular. he was lucky.Found a mentor that took him under his wing and molded him into the pop sensation that he has become.I would suggest ,that if you are serious. Audition for one of the many shows that are out there today and IF, you are good , And the competition is Stiff.You might get your shot at being heard. YOu can audition online for almost all these shows, just need a good video camera with a decent mic in it.Good luck.
