Ron Paul is a kook. Just listen to what he said at the debates. He said he was going to cut defense spending and the moderator asked if that meant reducing troop levels. Paul's reply was something along the lines of "You're talking about military spending, I'm talking about defense spending". He talks in circles and NEVER articulates one clear thought. "I support the Constitution and I support Freedom" are not political theories. They're generalities that really mean nothing if you don't back them up with specifics. His supporters can't supply any specifics either.
I think intelligent, open-minded people who are capable of thinking innovatively and who value the wisdom of the values of the Constitution understand Ron Paul's speeches and policies.
And I believe there are people from all parties that have these qualities.
Ron Paul is a story teller. He will could never get enough votes in congress to legalize drugs and thats just on a federal level. States would still enforce drug laws
