do attention disorders develop over time or are they something you have since you are a little kid? i am a sophomore in high school and every year for the past 4-5 years it has been getting harder for me to do anything in school, i can't get my work done because i just can't concentrate at it, i always have something distracting me... on tests my mind wonders away and i don't have time to complete the tests on many occasions.... are these signs of an attention disorder? or what else could it be? should i go see a doctor?

There are two kind of attention disorder : The first one is diagnosed when you are a child and the other one when you are an adult. I think you have the second one. so my best advice is to go to see your doctor and explain everything to him. He is the best person to help you out.
Attention disorder didn't exist until they came up with a drug for it. It's not true, it's just what they say you have so you spend your cash on their drug.
I agree with haha. It's all made up by powerful drug companies, all you need to do is to find a way to study correctly. It sounds like you procrastinate that's all.
