I need to know what is the best ski mitten, because my hand get extremely cold when i ski. Ive tried electric gloves, hand warmers wearing multiple gloves. i want to know what is the best for preventing cold hands in the winter, i hate cutting a ski run short to warm up my fingers. i have also used gortex and they worked alright but not as well as i would like them too. can you tell me why may hands get so cold and what mittens i should use to prevent them from getting so cold.

try Columbia or Marmot
I take two pairs of gloves and a couple pairs of mittens when I go out in the winter cold mainly snow machining on a hunt or out looking for a place to go ice fishing.
One pair is just plain cotton gloves for handling stuff. I don't wear them to long as you guessed it! My fingers get cold! Cotton is more durable than wool gloves or mittens in handling things. And I don't mind this pair of cotton gloves getting beat up or damp or wet even.
And if I were wearing my wool gloves or mittens for handling things, most likely they would get wet and loose some of their insulation properties and then my fingers and hands would certainly get cold for the duration of my time outside.
So I keep my wool gloves and mittens to wear only to keep my hands and fingers warm.
Now wool is a great insulator but it does not do to well doing things like keeping out the wind and snow or something like a cold ski pole. So I generally cover woolens with something like a pair of leather mittens that fit loosely but not to loose to look like I am descended from a snowman or some sort. A pair of insulated gortex mitts do well. Or a pair of animal fleece with leather outside even better.
So the idea of living, working and having fun outdoors in winter is basically to keep warm and not build up a sweat unless you have something like a warm place to go to anytime you get cold. Or a change of clothing and a good cabin or twin walled tent to go into.
As for hand and finger warmth. Choose a pair of cotton or similar gloves for handling things and possibly getting snow and moisture on them. Like when you put on equipment or have a snowball fight.
Leave the woolen gloves and mittens for keeping dry and warm. Use an outer covering either built in with your wool mittens or as an add on to keep wind out of the insulating wool. And there are other fibers such as goretex and others that are just as good or better for some reason? Like don't believe in killing and wearing animal skins or everybody else is wearing some $$$$spendy clothes and stuff.
