So far I'm saving up for a Blackberry Curve, but it's soo expensive at $429 so I was wondering if there's anything else out there that's a little cheaper and doesn't get all messed up? I love to text, a lot. I don't mind if it's an older phone like the LG V. I just want a phone that won't break on me. :/
Don't tell me to get the LG Dare, I have it right now and it sucks majorly.
Update:my contract doesn't end until like next year so either way its going to cost a lot of money.
i think i'm going to get an env :) (the first one)

The Blackberry Curve is only that much money if you get it without a contract. If you're using Verizon now, when does your contract come up? Then you can get a huge discount on whatever phone you pick.
A texting phone...Have you looked into the EnV's? They are really nice. A lot of people I know have the Env2, but the Env3 and Env Touch just came out if you want to check out a touch-screen. The Env3 is really similar to the Env2 except for minor keypad configuration differences (I think they switch the space bar on you).
The Alias 2 just came out as well, it has that new E-Ink technology which is really awesome. My only issue with that one is that it's rather large; both as thickness and when you open it up the long way...It's taller than my current Razr. Still, the E-Ink is awesome.
Somebody I know has the Blitz. Now that is a nice texting phone as well. Heck, it's the perfect texting phone. It's small, except a bit on the thick/bulky side, a slider and has a full keypad. Slightly small keys, but with any new phone, there is a learning curve and my friend can currently type like the wind on that thing.
So it's up to you. I just listed a few that I know of and like. I personally left out a few such as the Glyde or Chocolate because either I'm not fond of them or don't know much about them. Your best bet would be to check out your local Verizon store so you can actually handle the phones and see which of them feels best in your hands. Also check out online reviews for longevity and note how many of the reviews say "This broke on me in a week!" If it's more than half...Then you know...
Anyway, hope that helps.

If you do not like the Dare then you will not like the LG EnV Touch or Voyager. Your safe bet is to get an LG EnV3
