I have a BB8830 from Verizon, and it should be noted that it does not receive picture mail. I imagine the same thing will happen with the 8330 (Curve) or the Touring. As to facebook, it's a dream, but it won't allow you to take part in the side things such as accepting 'other requests', just friend requests, Wall-To-Wall, Private Message, Updating your Present 'What's on your mind?' and checking on friend's comments. If you want to do more, you just have to open facebook in the BB browser. If your going with Verizon, a BB adds roughly about $30 to your bill for unlimited internet and email.
As to the email, it's fantastic and works great with Gmail, if you use novell then your administrator normally has to set it up.
I have big hands, but still find the keyboard to be fantastic for typing out things in a hurry (not a fan of touch screen keyboards). I hope this helps.
If you do get a BB, crackberry.com is a great resource for information.

Blackberry Tour. I have it and love it more than the BB Storm and BB 8310.
