Okay, so my period is due right about today. I am on birth control and always start my period from the 1st to the 3rd of every month. Today is the 3rd. I have never skipped a period while on birth control, nor have they ever been late. Today and for the past two days I have had light brown, and I mean LIGHT, discharge. It started off when I went to the restroom at my sister's place. I notice a slimy, mucus-like, discharge. Only happened once that night. It almost looked like it was snot with some slight brown in it. Nothing happened after that so I brushed it off. The next day I had light brown and white-ish, stringy discharge for a little bit. And, now today I'm having watery, brown discharge. Almost like the beginning of my period, but it's different. It's watery, unlike it always is, and is only there when I wipe (not really, I have to hold toilet paper on myself for a second before it shows on the toilet paper). Now I normally have brown spotting a few days before my period is due; but, it's just brown and looks like period blood...just brown not red. Then I start my period a day or two later, and it's bright red. This is different though. I am on BC, but about 31/2 weeks ago I had sex with my partner without a condom. I'm wondering if this is implantation bleeding? I plan to test if my period doesn't actually show, but a little insight would help... Also! I have no pregnancy symptoms, at all. I also have no period symptoms. I almost ALWAYS have tender breasts and cramps days before my period is due, but I have not seen any sign of these. Which is why I began to worried when this brown discharge happened.
