Caffeine seems to prop up several systems in the body artificially and these systems seem to go haywire when I stop caffeine. For example, I feel more depressed (decreased serotonin and dopamine). I also have less energy (no adrenaline surge and adenosine finally gets to calm my nerves).
My question is: are there specific foods that I can eat to help my brain chemicals get back to normal faster?
Update:Cool info. What do you mean by flush? What is actually happening?

A healthy diet, exercise (increases serotonin and dopamine), and 7-9 hours of quality sleep do it every time.
It's not your brain that needs repairing. Your adrenal glands, located on top of your kidneys need flushing.
