I have been with my boyfriend for 12 years, we have a son that is 4. His only sister has always been jealous of me and I have looked the other way, she is very possessive over her mother and anytime my son spends time with his grandparents shes throwing a holy tempter tantrum about how they love him more than her kids, I have also ignored this behavior because my husband asks me too, even though it pisses me off. Recently it was repeated to me by another family member that she said we only had our son out of spite of another grandchild, this is not the first time I have heard her running her mouth behind our backs her ex contacted me once and told me all the things she says and does to make our lives as hard as possible such as when we were behind on our vehicle payments she reported to them where they could locate the vehicle ( she was compensated $50 ) again we kept our mouths shut for the sake of my boyfriends parents getting upset. Well I finally blew up and told my father in law I am tired of the crap and it needs to stop, he agreed and also said it has become a problem that she is constantly calling his house and bitching about something we are doing recently I started a online business selling Jewelry, she has been selling used cloths online for a few years now .... She is highly upset with the fact that I am selling online. My father in law claimed he was going over to her house to straighten her out and let her know to cut the crap, instead we get an email from her this morning claiming he called her and told her there is some he said she said crap going on that she needs to talk to me about... Now she is asking us to come over for dinner to clear the air, I know exactly what will happen - she will claim she never made those statements and its another person in the family that is the problem and the cycle starts over again. My biggest issue is she is now talking about my children to other family members and I just can no longer tolerate it any longer. How do I deal with her ?
