Ok so I have what I beleive is a cyst under the skin of my jaw. I can move it around. It grows and then shrinks down again from time to time. I think its just a normal cyst because I get them all the time in other places but I was just wondering if anyone knew if this is harmful at all? Could it be cancer? I dont think its cancer because Cancer doesnt grow and then shrink and then re-grow again, right???
Update:I dont think its a lumph node gland because I can feel it and then over a little to the right is the cyst

If you're concerned, you should have a doctor check and make certain it's a cyst.
Lymphoma -- cancer of the lymph nodes -- sometimes "waxes and wanes" where the effected node can increase and then decrease in size. But the node will almost always keep gradually growing in size and won't disappear altogether. My lymphoma behaved in this way.
I would probably just have a doctor look at it to be certain it's a cyst. It's unlikely it's cancer, but if you're worried enough to ask a question here, for your own peace of mind I think it's a good idea to see a doctor and have him/her tell you what it is.
