Dark Brown Discharge?
Hi, My very first period was on January 7, 2013. It started on 7:30 morning and it ended on 8:00. That's my estimated time and why is that so? I'm a virgin, i have never done anything bad in my life. and before I had my very first period, I produced a lot of brown discharge and when I went to school I had my very first period, then it ended.. and after that, Today, January 10, 2013 I'm still producing dark brown discharge, it's dark and i produce only few of it and I wonder why i only had my period for a couple of minutes?

It can be very unpredictable the first year. Or you might get lucky and that will be it for you every month. My first year, it was irregular, sometimes it was very late, sometimes it was on and off for 12 days. My grandma would only spot when she was young. We're all different. Blood turns brown when it's old or about to dry up. I have brown discharge before and after my period, most women do.
It happens to me sometimes, I think it's just blood that's been up there for a bit leaving your body
