Only a patriots fan could possibly consider Branch. Branch has been wildly inconsistent. Id much rather have Meachem who is still young and has plenty of upside. He is a big play threat and gets redzone targets, which is what you want. I expect Meachem to keep on improving.
I like Deion Branch in this. Simply because the Pats are playing the Jets. The Jets are going to try and take away the underneath stuff to Welker. Leaving Branch with some room for success.
Before I did this I would try to figure out who Revis will be on. If Revis is on Branch then Meachem might be your best play. If Revis is on Welker Branch might have a big day.
Definitely Meachem. Branch only has 1 catch in the past 2 weeks. I'm not particularly fond of Meachem as a starter, but definitely way better than Branch.
i might bypass with Deion branch because of the fact Newman for the cowboys is going to be on Welker all night and the cowboys dont have the different good CB's. As for Anquan Boldin hes going up against an exceptionally good corner as in Jonathan Joseph who has been good this year. And Robert Meachem has not performed properly in any respect this year, so bypass with branch.
meachem wont get as many catches with colston getting back in the lineup, but the last couple of seasons his catches seem to be for big yards. if its a third receiver, id say meachem.
