I dont have any checks left to submit to my employer for direct deposit, but I do have the duplicates. Can the duplicate be accepted in lieu of a voided check?
A duplicate of the check will be fine, however, I would white out any details regarding information on who the check was made out to. It is private information that should not be shared. In addition, all they really need are the digits at the bottom of the cheque, excluding the check number. You could just photocopy the bottom part and submit that.

All they need the check for is to have your account info so the money goes where it's supposed to. I would say a duplicate will suffice.

What you will need is the bank's routing number and your account number.
