Yes, I do mind. However, there isn't anything I can do about it. It's a minor problem sometimes. For instance, he smoked in his car one day (doesn't usually, but it was raining or something) and he burned a hole in one of the seats and if we are out, he has to go outside to smoke and leave me sitting alone, which I don't like.

No. I do not smoke and my husband does. he doesn't smoke in the house, in the car or around the children.

So, whether or not I like smoking is irrelevant. Would I prefer he stopped? hell yes, for his health. but I have no interest in trying to control or dictate to him what he can and can't do. he is respectful in regards to his smoking so that is all I can ask.

Mine used to and it never bothered me. I do not like smoking. He rarely did it around me and if he did it was outside. He never smoked in the house, car or around the kids. He has since quit though :)

A guy who smokes...PERIOD. Bad addiction I want NO part of and stinks up "the world" in general when it comes to a home or car - clothing - drapes...dirty. Yuck.

Not at all, my wife smokes but she does not smoke in the house, either in the garage or outside. She does smoke in her car, but not in mine.
