So I'm writing a story and one of the main characters will be a semi-famous magician who specializes in escape acts. Being bored with his career, he exploits the connections he holds with other famous celebrities in order to study their homes and security systems, which he later burglarizes for the thrill (not for financial gain).
Other characteristics:
-He started as a poor street magician
-Hyper-mobility - which is a key reason he is a great escape artist
-Excellent showman - a key skill for magicians is to distract the audience with speech while they set up their trick. This skill is useful when the magician gives a false sense of security to his celebrity friends
Is there anything I can add to make the character more realistic?

Flaws, always flaws. That's how you make someone realistic. Make sure he has weaknesses, something that he's vulnerable to. Allow him to mess up sometimes in the story. Also give him personality traits that don't have anything to do with his magician career, traits that are just about HIM as a person. Give him quirks. Go into his backstory, what made him the way he is now.
All in all, it sounds like a cool story! :)
Add some things about is personality. Short tempered or Calm. Easy going or always moving. Something like that :)
