People die all the time in college and ... at that point no one really cares unless you were a brilliant student or a great socializer. Colleges sometimes are like "Booze, drugs, girls, men, football, basketball, YEAH!!"
Then you see kids dying from drug and alcohol overdoses quite a bit. People kind of get quiet for one minute when they read about it, and then it's "Booze, drugs, etc ! YEAH!!" again. ;)
