The big one that I notice is the expectations laid on young people in college.
Young men are told that they're supposed to get a career and make a lot of money. Young women are told that they're supposed to find a man and start a family. And then this is followed up with pressure - men are looked down on if they don't make a lot of money or if they're in a dead-end job, and women are looked down on if they're single past a certain age.
You can have all the equal opportunity you want, but in a culture like that, there's obviously going to be differences in what people do with their lives.
Men created it by making women seem inferior. Even though we believe in this whole equality thing, our mind still has the sense that women are weaker. Which in reality physically are. You can't compare the strength of a 10 year old boy to a 16 year boy.
Women can wear men's clothes like pant suits, men's shirts and ties, and be seen as cute and accepted. But men wearing leggings/tights that find it comfortable and such are labelled unfairly as gay or perverted.

Double standards are unfair, and should be abolished either way. Here's a few double standards men have to deal with:
If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat-race, you're a male chauvinist.
If you don't you're sexist.
If you are interested in her sexually, you're a creep.
If you're not you're a fag.
If you stay home and do the housework, you're a pansy.
If she stays home and do the housework, you're oppressive.
If you work too hard there is never any time for her.
If you don't work enough, you're a good-for-nothing bum.
If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay, its called "exploitation".
If YOU have a boring repetitive job with low pay.....
you should get off your *** and find something better.
If you get a promotion ahead of her, that is favoritism.
If she gets a job ahead of you, it's equal opportunity.
If you mention how nice she looks, it's sexual harassment.
If you keep quiet, it's male indifference.
If you cry, you're a wimp.
If you don't, you're an insensitive bastard.
If you make a decision without consulting her, you're a chauvinist.
If she makes a decision without consulting you, she's a liberated woman.
If you ask her to do something she doesn't enjoy, that's domination.
If she asks you, it's a favor.
If you appreciate the female form and frilly underwear, you're pervert.
If you don't, you're gay.
If you like a woman to shave her legs and keep in shape, you're sexist.
If you don't, you're unromantic.
If you try to keep yourself in shape, you're vain.
If you don't, you're a slob.
If you buy her flowers, you're after something.
If you don't, you're not thoughtful.
If you're proud of your achievements, you're full of yourself.
If you're not, you're not ambitious.
If she has a headache, she's tired.
If you have a headache, you don't love her anymore.
If you want it too often, you're oversexed.
If you don't, there must be someone else.
If she's over 35 with no kids, she's independent and a free spirit.
If you're 35 and childless, you're a weirdo with issues.
If you hit her, it's abuse.
If if she hits you, you deserved it.

If people appreciate a man's drumming skills they will say "He is a good Drummer."
But if female, they will say "She is a good chick Drummer."
It is sad. Because a Drummer is a Drummer.
That's the real world. If you let it bother you, you are not going to get very far.
