I just started a diet to lose about 20 lbs. I'm 21 years old and moderately active (I was 2 miles every other day and do sit ups). I am currently tracking what I eat on thedailyplate.com ( for those of you that have never used it, you enter what you eat and tracks literally everything for you, protein, carbs, calories, fat, etc.)
I'm a vegetarian so I eat a lot of Morningstar Farms products (fake meat basically). They are pretty high in protein and low in fat. I've noticed at the end of the day I'll have eaten like... 140-190% of my daily protein needs but I won't have even eaten 1/3 of the fat or sometimes carbs that I'm supposed to and I'll even be like 500 calories under what I'm recommended. (I do try to eat "good fats" like nuts and stuff.) Is this strange? Is it going to make it harder for me to lose weight?
Any advice is very appreciated!

When I want to loose weight i pay attention to what i eat. I start eating less than what i eat normally and i drink a lot of water! And i never eat nothing for dinner!
Make sure you weigh yourself to see if you are loosing weight or not! Good Luck!
