One of the funniest episodes I have seen on Deep Space 9 and maybe in the whole Trek franchise is "Trials and Tribble-ations".
Capt. Sisko and crew are travelling on the Defiant and they are sent back in time to the 23rd century. They have to stop a Klingon posing as a human from killing Capt. Kirk. It is set on the Enterprise and the space station that was over-run with tribbles. It's supposed to be at the same time as the original series episode The Trouble with Tribbles. Thanks to digital film technology, you can actually see Capt. Sisko speak to a young Capt. Kirk. Worf, Bashir, Odo, and O'Brian get mixed up in the same bar fight that Scotty started because a Klingon insulted the Enterprise.(not for insulting Kirk). Bashir flirts with a female Enterprise officer who he realizes later may have been his great-grandmother.
The episode was an anniversary special to honor Star Trek.
