Is there anywhere in Austin to get a good massage? I sit in my office most of the day, but asking for concentration on my glutes I only get a cursory pass over. I'm happily married and don't want anything sexual. I just think a massage therapist maybe could spend more than 5 seconds on the largest muscle in the body. Am I asking too much?

I totally agree with you about the importance of massaging glutes. On the other hand, if you go in asking for a butt only massage, you do sound creepy. Go in and be honest. Tell them that you sit all day and and would like your glutes worked on IN ADDITION to the rest of your massage. If they say they have a problem with that, go somewhere else. It's all about trial and error to find a good therapist.
Most men tend to lean towards Shiatsu because it is a more abrasive massage technique. The most manipulative for smaller areas is the Hot Stone massage. It uses polished Lava Stones heated and held in the hand to put the pressure on your smaller muscle groups instead of direct hand pressure.
Just for the record. A good therapist will ask you before he/she begins what area is troubling you the most, and they will focus on that area the longest.
