Hi strange pains in lower stomach?????
Hi ive just found out that i am pregnant and i am overjoyed i am about 12 week pregnant and i am due to have my ultrasound scan in 2 weeks on the 27th dec, thing is i had an abortion 5 and a half years ago (which i truly regret) and i got wierd pains when i sat down today the pains are behind my uterus kinda like in the middle, but i had this after the abortion and found out i had fluid (infection) in the pouch of douglas which is in between the rectum and the uterus what shall i do???

See your doctor to double check. But the first trimester as I recall was painful. I had soo many pains and cramps I thought something was wrong. It was the stretching and the formation of new blood vessels being formed etc. It could be that. If you see bright red blood then you need to go to a emergency room. But if you can wait see your doctor and ask. Sorry if I wasn't much help.
Pains in your lower stomach are normal in pregnancy. I honestly wouldnt worry about it at all. The infection was YEARS ago, and aside from maybe some scar tissue which might be sensitive it wouldnt effect your pregnancy at all.
you should really consult your doctor with the pains it may not as be as serious as it feels but it is also important to see because i know no mother was a problem baby also you can go check www.webmd.com
go see a doctor! and dont regret having an abortion...I did too and never thought I could have a baby...and here I am...going to be a mommy!
