20.0 g of bromic acid, HBro3, is reacted with excess HBr.
HBrO(aq) + 5HBr(aq) = 3H2O(l) + 3Br2(aq)
What is the theoretical yield of Br2 for this reaction?
If 47.3 g of Br2 is produced, what is the percentage yield of Br2?
I believe I first have to use Stoichiometry to solve this problem, please correct me if I am wrong. I missed the lesson so if you have an answer, if you could please explain what you did and how/why you did it indepthly that would be great. Thanks in advance.

128.9g HBrO3 + 239.7g HBr produce 239.7g Br
20g (239.7/128.9)=37.20g
37.20 =theoretical yield
percentage yield of Br2= 47.3/37.20 x 100= 127%
