Well today I got a netbook with Windows 7 Starter on it for Christmas and I wanted to change the background because the one it has isn't exactly the most attractive thing in the world and I found out that you can't do it, if you go onto google and right click on an image and click set as desktop background and then go and see if it worked, it's just exactly the same, the same happens if you do it in paint so I was wondering if there was any way to do it at all?

Windows Starter doesn't have the option, but you can do it anyway - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/47294-desktop...
Try this, find a background you like, put it in the user directory for the account you use and place in in the picture directory. There should be a directory there with some backgrounds already there, put it there. Then close the window, left click on the screen and choose backgrounds, go to the directory where you placed your back ground, then left click on it and set it for the background and click apply if it is there. This works in almost all Windows, but I know nothing about Windows 7 and how it works.
You can't. Windows Starter don't have that option.
