My 7 week old has been hungry round the clock the last two days. He is formula fed. He was taking long naps, and sleeping 4-5 hours at night at a time. For the past two days, he has taken 15-20 minute naps here and there. I am assuming this is a growth spurt, and want to know how long it will last. I've heard of a few people having growth spurts lasting up to 10 days, but 3-5 days at most is what most people seem to have. My daughter had 1-2 days spurts each time which isn't that uncommon either. Forget the house work. Order delivery for dinner, and do your best to take it easy (and sleep whenever the baby sleeps). It shouldn't last much longer.
