Nowhere will you be able to find out the lifespan of your battery. The lifespan depends on the make, how often the battery is used, how often it is discharged fully and recharged fully, how often it is partially discharged and recharged, and the make of the laptop.
This is why two people with the same laptop, that each have the same battery but use their laptops in different ways will end up with batteries that need to be replaced at different times.
How long should you expect? At least two years. Toshiba and Asus tend to build units with batteries that prove to be long lasting. I've got a Toshiba A75 with an original battery, that makes it 6 years old now, and the battery still holds a charge for over 2 hours.... which is only slightly less than how long it held it's charge for when it was brand new.
If you mean how long will the battery last on a single charge, this will vary depending on screen brightness, processor usage (modern processors can be throttled back to save power), hard drive usage, etc.
