If you are planning to buy from a reputable breeder, a purebred Dachsund could cost $1200-$1500.
Your other option is a Dachshund rescue(look it up in your area) or shelter, both of which you will pay a small fee. Do NOT buy online, from a pet store, ad etc. you will be supporting unethical breeding and puppy mills.
The going rate for a well-bred purebred puppy these days is $600-2000, that will be from a breeder that can show you proof of the registration, titles, and OFA/genetic health testing.
The going rate for a crap-bred dog from a pet store, puppy mill, or ignorant backyard breeder is comparable, only you'll be getting a dog that will probably have major health and behavioral problems and will probably not be the right size/shape/coat/structure when grown anyway.
A Dachshund from rescue, where they are often but not always pups available, will often be $100-300 and, while not always well-bred, will be accurately assessed by the rescue group as to whether they meet your needs - as well as fully vetted, altered, and often even partially trained.

The color of the dog has nothing to do with allergies. And no it would be the same as having a short hair dog such as a boxer or chihuahua.
