I don't understand!?!?!?
Okay, my friend has a short history of lying...she told me she had a boyfriend, she didn't. She told me her friend in California lived in a Mansion, she didn't. And now she is telling me that she got her period. Okay, here is the story...One day we were riding bikes and she told me she thought she was going to have her period, because she had the white discharge for 2 weeks or so. I didn't think she would. Then the next week she says "I got my period" but she only had discharge for 2 weeks and she is totally, 100%, completley F-L-A-T!!! I thought you could only get your period after your boobs have been growing for 2 years!!! I AM SO CONFUSED!!! HELP??/!??!? Woah!!?? is she lyning once again?? I am so confused!

I really don't think she is lying, i mean getting your period is nothing to brag about. And I'm pretty much flat, excuse me, and I'm 13 and have had my period for 2 years. So its completely normal to get your period while you are still undeveloped.
The 2 years of boobs thing is just a rule of thumb, not to be taken seriously by everyone, so yeaa.
I had a friend who did the exact same thing. Sometimes we tell lies to impress people and win friends. It's a stupid thing to do as liars will, in most cases, get found out. Then nobody will want to be their friend.
It's important for you to know that everybody starts their period at a different age and it won't necessarily happen before your boobs develop. The stages of puberty occur in no particular order and your friend could very well be telling the truth in this case.

Your period has nothing to do with your boobs. I mean its all hormones but they are different parts of your body. Some girls get their period when they are around 9 and aren't developing boobs yet. And other girls get their period until they in there teens when they have (or don't have) boobs. Everybody has a different body and everyone develops at different rates.
one question though, how old is your friend?
Well, you don't have to have big boobs to get your period - some people are just flat chested even after they've fully went through puberty.
But seeing as though she's been caught in several lies, she could be lying - but you will never know unless you take down her pants & check yourself, but for some reason I don't think that would go over too well.
i dont really know why she would lie about something like that. But not every girl is gonna get boobs. alot of people also dont get boobs until after menstruating starts. It just depends on your genetics and what not. im 14 and still have quite a few friends who dont have big boobs or anything
I got my period wayy before being developed and had discharge after i got it, so maybe I'm different but w\e. I don't really knwo why you care all that much, Is it because you're jealous bcz you shouldn't be. Everyone develops in their own time
Does it matter whether she has her period or not! If she is a persistant lier, they why are you friends? You don't need friends like that.
