Ok so today my husband just got offered a job with sears call center, he has the written letter. I'm worried because they offered him the job before conducting the background check, see the problem is he got a felony 5 years ago when he was 14 and it was put to the side and he got off probation early for good behavior, he did put it on his application I'm Just worried that they might of skipped over it. Can they hire him and then take it back if his background doesn't come back clear? Even though he put it on the application.

Regardless of the background check and the offer letter Sears can still not have a job whenever he reports to work and there's nothing you can do. I know I kept my offer letter six years after I quit Walmart
Sears already did the background check. It only takes a matter of minutes. Do not worry he was a child when the incident occurred and they can not hold this against him.
your husband was open and honest. it isnt his fault they missed it. Many businesses like call centers would hire someone with a record, esp in your husbands case he was a minor.
everyone has a probationary period but they will not fire you just because of your record, they should have investigated before. mums the word. he will be fine
They COULD take back the offer. But if he was only 14 then, he's probably ok.
