The glamour model Katie Price and her husband Peter Andre have split up, a statement from their PR firm said today.
The couple, who had been married for four and a half years and have two children together, announced the surprise break-up this afternoon.
The pair recently returned from the US where they had been filming Katie and Peter: Stateside, the latest installment of a reality TV series which has followed the couple for six series and several years.
A statement from Can Associates said: "Peter Andre and Katie Price are separating after four and a half years of marriage."

Very highly doubt it because how could the media have found it so fast? Also it doesn't give any reason and I haven't seen any reason for them to split up before, they seem quite happy.
So probably not, the media tend to print anything they can to try and get a good story and half the time it's not true.
im not saying everything on the telly is true, because i totally dont think that. but just then in the ad break it said that they've officially broken up and it said something about their manager wanting people to appreciate their privacy.
before that, i thought it was just media exaggeration. but now im not so sure.
