I was getting on MSN to video chat with my girlfriend and she said that she couldn't see me. So I clicked on my Windows button on my desktop and went to my Acer Crystal Eye webcam. When I do this it opens a small text box saying, "Error! No video capture device was detected on your system." I went back into MSN to see if I could set up a webcam and it gives me two options, none, or disable. It doesn't recognize I have a webcam either! And what really ticks me off is that the webcam is built into the netbook!
Someone help me, so we can have our video date tomorrow night!

who has a date over the internet,
but try to update the drivers or installing them.
Launch the Acer updater already installed and let it update everything or, if there's not anything like that, go to Acer's support website and look for the latest driver for your specific laptop model, donwload and install it. That should help, but if not, then you may need tech help to get this sorted out.
Go back to Control Panel, Hardware, Devices and look for your webcam. If you do not see the webcam in the list, right click on the white space and select Show disabled devices. Then enable it.
