I want to smudge my house. I have white sage, but it smells a lot like weed, and I don't need people thinking I smoke weed around my 1 year-old and calling CPS (we do have neighbors like that).
Can I put some lavender essential oil on the sage and let it dry out, then burn it that way?

Most oils are flamable so it should be fine
Proper white sage smells nothing like marijuana. Sprinkling lavender oil on it will make it smell like sage and lavender oil.
You dont' have to use white sage to smudge if the smell is a problem. There are several other herbs that are traditionally used (sweetgrass, five-finger grass, cedar, I'm sure there are others) and if you aren't too picky about being strictly traditional you can use almost any kind of incense.
I don't think white sage smells like pot at all. Pot is the stinkiest thing ever, stinkier than skunk. White sage smells more like a brush fire. Maybe you could heat white sage oil in a potpourri type thing instead? I guess it's all flammable, but with the lavender oil on dry sage, that sounds scary flammable!
none oils purely take a seat on the nicely suited of the hair . because of the fact the exterior of the hair purely has sixteen amino acids in it oil won't penetrate into the cortex of the hair. besides hair grows from the hair bulb under the layers of the exterior and based at which point of growth the hair bulb is at it would not regularly be waiting to penetrate into those layers of the exterior ( purely in the process the telegen point of growth and at that time hair is shed from the physique ) hair is going by using 3 tiers of growth anagen catagen and telegen all of them mean that the hair grows rests then sheds earlier beginning throughout interior the place to initiate tee tree is an antiseptic bergammot is a robust muscle relaxer patchouli is fragrant no longer something on hair there
If you think about it, this is actually more crazy than smoking weed around a 1 year-old.
