I used to give my baby a nudge with my hand to see if he would turn some, sometimes he would and sometimes not. If I pushed on him enough he usually would. If he/she is going to big a bigger or longer baby, may not have much room in there. remember, small nudges. may not move at all. if not, let him be and lay down for a while for releif.
I had a pregnancy like that and my son ended up being in a transverse lie (a type of breech position) requiring a c-section. My midwife told me there wasn't a whole lot that could be done except for a technique called external cephalic version; she said this rarely worked and the times it did seem to, the baby usually flipped back into the breech position anyway. I've heard it's also pretty uncomfortable and you have to be monitored.
I've had two of those type pregnancies now.
The good thing for you is that you do still have some time to go and the baby may settle lower and get into the right position in the weeks to come! without any assistance!
Try laying on your left side-that might shift him around enough to take the pressure off the rib. Mostly you just have to wait for them to shift position. One of my twins likes to lay in the same spot and kick! Good Luck!
Get up and walk around. Drink a glass of really cold water. Or switch sides when you lay down. My son stayed in my ribs also. He was breech too so it was his head up there. Hope this helps.

Ugh. Both of my babies did that. I used to put my hand or a MILD heat source on the other side of my belly. Often the baby would move toward the heat.
Other than that, try to change positions until baby moves. Hang in there.

Try walking or maybe a gentle belly massage. You could also try drinking a little caffeine to get the baby to move. GL!
that happend to me just drink a tea any kind and massage the baby kinda down ward it relaxes the baby and gets the baby to move
I feel your pain. . . I don't miss that feeling. I used to massage that area and the baby would move. Good Luck!
My friend said when that happened to her she just took her hand and gently pushed downward and her baby moved for her!
Get on your hands and knees and lift up until you are on your hands and tip toes. That's the best way to get them to move when they are like that.
