You get paychecks every two weeks at my work. We get them on Friday's. You have to wait for your second pay period to get your check. So eventually you will go in and see people grab checks, you will not get one, but in two weeks from that day, you will have all the hours you worked in those 3-4 weeks up to it. You have to specifically ask them to do direct deposit and fill out paper work. They cannot do direct deposit unless you give them bank info since they don't know what bank you use. You will most likely get your check in the current store in two weeks from this upcoming Friday. As long as you clock on for the training you will get a check sent.
You can call the corporate office of McDonald's. Explain that you have been hired for a position in a branch that will open shortly and that you would like to have your paychecks directly deposited to your account if possible. They be able to accommodate you by sending you a slip that can be filled out and returned on the date you are to start working.
I work at McDonald's right now and it isn't a direct deposit. And where I work we got our checks Wednesdays. And because the store isn't opening until march, they will probably send you your check/checks in the mail.
Yes, you are being scammed. They will steal your money and your important info! So, don't give them your important info at all via emails. It's better to find a person who lives in your area, willing to meet you in a public place such as a cafe and pay only in cash! It's easier and safe!
Usually every other Friday, but ask your manager. They're there for a reason.
