I keep trying to download the classic version of Minecraft but I keep getting this error: 'Fatal error occured (5): A device attached to the system is not functioning'

I've tried multiple times and I'm almost certain I have all of the Java required (I have 32 bit, in which Java version 7 update 5 + JRE 1.7.0_5 are installed) and Computer Space requirements are looking good, so.... IDK what the problem could be...
