i own a shop and you need to check and see if its getting fuel and fire to it first, i cant see the car so i don't know,if you,ll provide us with this information we can help you with it,at this point it could be anything though, and you may have to have it checked out real good,if its original ignition system it can be a bad condenser causing it,good luck i hope this helps.
There may be a clog in the fuel system. You may have bad gas. Being a 67 vintage, probably not anything elevtrical unless your altenator just up and died. I would look at the fuel delivery system first.
it sounds like you have a clogged fuel filter old engines are known for that mostly if they have been sitting for awhile and then started. all the gunk gets stirred up and plugs the filter. it ran until it used the gas in the carburetor. bowl and wasn't getting more so it died. Also these cars are known for rusty gas tanks do yourself a favor and replace the tank.
Probably been sitting a long time, maybe fuel tank is contaminated with rust or water.
sound something like "bad when is hot" thing
3 things could be .
ignition coil pack.
EGR.
the carburator choke.
tried out to start it when is cold.
