Okay I defiantly know how you feel, my step mum and my dad are always at it when they know I'm awake, they emotionally abuse me so it doesn't really suprise me that they don't care if I hear it. But to all of the people saying "well at least they are in a happy relationship" well they can still have a healthy relationship but they just have to stop having sex While your around and making you uncomfortable, just think that all of these parents that do this are only thinking about themselves because you have a choice to stop what your doing or you can carry on, where as we don't have a choice,well we do but that is so awkward! You parents think that it's awkward when you confront you about what makes us uncomfortable but we wouldn't have to if you would just have sex while we are not around. Is that so hard? Think about it.

I know exactly how you're feeling. I confronted my mum and she just said to me ''well put your earphones in then'' I was so shocked that she didn't even care and they still do it in the middle of the day when they know I'm in the house. I hate it when people say stuf like ''at least they love each other and they're still together'' but in my opinion it's quite disrespectful that they know you can hear them but they carry on as if they are the only people living in the house. The best thing for you to do is just tell them it bothers you and they might stop doing it or be quieter when they know you're awake or around

Sounds horrible, but 'accidentally' walk in on them but keep your eyes closed or look in the opposite direction of where there bed is. Tell them something like you've been sick, or you heard someone knocking on the door, just make an excuse up. They'll be so embarrassed they won't do it unless your out of the house because they'll be scared you'll walk in again. I did this to my younger sister, it was too awkward for me to tell her to stop whilst we're in the house so I did that. Her and her boyfriend haven't done it since :) and if they have its been very quiet !

I feel your pain as I heard this with my dad and his partner on a few occasions and it's gross. You should definitely confront them and say it's really upsetting you and you need it to stop, it's not fair on you as they are not the only people living in your house and they shouldn't allow you to feel uncomfortable in your own home. It may seem awkward and gross but like I say you definitely need to confront them, even you just use code words like 'I keep hearing you two, doing 'it''

Well on a good note, they are happy with each other. I guess you need ear plugs or a radio to listen to instead. You could always ask them to go at it earlier when you are watching TV.

Get used to it. You could trying complaining to them but then that'll just be awkz!! Move bedrooms, or sleep downstairs on the couch or something

Get a boyfriend/girlfriend and do the same back to them.

Get ear phones, and music! It will help a lot lmao
