I'm only 14 but I feel so much older with all of this pain I'm having.
My neck usually gives me most of the problems.
It's seriously cramping right now.
I usually sleep face down.
I've tried other positions but I can't sleep those ways.
I have a big family, seven other people, and so if a bed is available, I just sleep on it.
But we moved a year ago, so our bedding is fairly new.
Anyway, I also have some acne on my back, could that also be a cause for my discomfort?
I've had back/neck pains for awhile.
I don't think my back is misaligned because we had a scoliosis test and they didn't say I had it, so yeah.
Yes, I'm a girl but this doesn't have to do with my monthly friend, so please don't suggest that.

i know you don't want to hear this, but sleeping on your stomach IS THE NuMbeR one cause of back pain.
Try getting a body pillow or several pillows to sleep with and try weaning yourself off your stomach and onto your side.
Try cuddling the pillows.
I have horrid neck problems, i'm 30 yrs older than you when they were so bad that the pain ran down my arm.
If I were to sleep on my stomach my neck would actually lock up in the position i had it turned to.
I had to go to physical therapy and get posture correction, hang in traction and use a tempru-pedic pillow.
I would have paid 10.00 a night to sleep on that pillow.
My entire family has the pillow now.
no more neck aches.

and a second opinion with a spine doc might be of some help.

I have the same problem. I use icy hot and it helps a lot. Try to get one of those u shaped neck pillows and sleep on your back. As for the acne on your back...try using some st.james body scrub. It helps.
