I recently changed my password for my yahoo email when I was on a different computer. Now on my home computer, with the automatic sign in, yahoo messenger will not connect. Messenger tries to sign in periodically but never connects since I changed my password at another location. I try to go to preferences on messenger while not signed in, but all it shows is connection preferences. How do I change the setting for automatic sign in when I can't sign in?
Update:I only have one account for yahoo that I know of.

change the user name on the log in box with another ID you have (coz i know you have more than one account). then uncheck boxes to not remember the ID/password you entered and press Enter. when you are logged in with this new account/another account, log out and the log in box will be opened free now. this time log in with the previous account you want to sign in that automatically remembers your password and enter the new password you had created.
