My doctor put all of our ultrasound pictures on a cd and the instructions say to insert the cd and that a Dicom reader will pop up and to hit accept. Once that is done the images should appear and you should be able to re-save each image as a .jpg and then will be able to be shared. When I try this a blank internet page comes up saying that it requires Internet Explorer 6, we have Internet Explorer 8 and it won't work. I don't know what to do!

If the image in the cd is not saved as a particular extension known image file then you can rename each file/image to .jpg extension.
For example if the file/image is : cat, rename it to cat.jpg and save the file and open it. If your using internet explorer then try to check if your explorer is java enabled first. Otherwise if the picture still not opening then the problem maybe from the CD and the images are corrupted or incomplete due to bad copy. Contact me and I'll check again with you if the problem persists.
It should work with newer versions, unless its one of those crappy things that requires only IE6. Something as simple as pictures should work in almost any browser.
